The Madness of My Neurosis
                           written by kat chua

The Madness Of My Neurosis
Eating At My Insides
Decomposing Within The Lies
I Grow Tired
Of The Fear Mongers
In Their Suits And Ties
Ignoring The Cries
Of The People They Say They Serve
Perhaps It Is Time
To End The Tears And Have Ourselves
Heard Loud And Clear
We Are The People

Claim What Is Ours
Let Us Put Away Our Cell-Phones
Free Our Hands
Ready To Fight
Waving Them In The Air As We Find Our Voice
Have Them By Our Side As We Stand To Protect Our City
Our Country
Our Humanity

Do Not Be Deceived By Words Alone
Take An Action
Do More Than Vote
It Is No Longer Good Enough To Speak And Wonder
Of The Days Of Revolution

Do Not Fall Prey
To The Shadow Of The 60's
Ride The Essence Of Its Wave To Today
Take To Your Feet
And Ignite A Revolution

We Can No Longer Just Quote Dr. King
We Cannot Just Stand With Malcolm X's Words In Hand
Gandhi's Hunger Is Not Our Own
We Must Strip Ourselves
And Fast For The Atrocities Right Outside These Doors
Revolution Cannot Fall Prey To Nostalgia

Let Us Take To Our Feet And Live To Instigate
Thought And Action

If We Tire
Take A Breath
But Do Not Be Distracted By Personal Daily Tribulations
You Are,
We Are
Members Of A Social World
Now Is The Time To Claim It.
